The Asian Development Bank co-financed a project set to finance the water supply and sanitation services in Zugdidi and Poti, which are two of the seven secondary towns in Georgia covered by the Urban Services Improvement Investment Program.

The project includes two components:

  • the first component will support infrastructure investments to rehabilitate, improve, and expand service facilities in Zugdidi and Poti
  • the second component will include project implementation support and management.

In this context, the management of the United Water Supply Company of Georgia LLC requires an auditor to carry out an audit of the annual project financial statements for the loan under Urban Services Improvement Investment program.

Infrastructure - GIF, global facility to implement complex projects

The objective of the assignment is to enable the auditor to express an opinion on the financial position of the project for the financial years ending on 31 December (FY2015 to FY2018), and on the funds received and expenditures for the year then ended.

Interested entities should express their interest to provide the above mentioned services within April 6, 2016. The estimated short-listing date is April 12, 2016 and the assignment commencement date is April 29, 2016. The duration of the assignment to conduct financial audit would be initially up to December 31, 2016, with possibility of an extension on year on year basis until 31 December 2018.
