Say what you need in the Active and Assisted Living - AAL call 2016

Old people

The Active and Assisted Living (AAL) programme has launched a public consulation to support the choice for the topics that will be addressed in the AAL Call 2016.

The AAL programme funds projects in public-private partnership in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) for active and healthy ageing. The programme is cofinanced by the European Commission from 2014 until 2020 for an estimated budget of 700 million euros.

The AAL Call 2015, closed in May, has funded ICT based innovative, transnational and multi-disciplinary collaborative projects that support older adults to live independetly and actively.

In order to define the challenges for the AAL Call 2016, the promoters of the programme have launched a public consultation.

The 3 proposed challenges are:

  • How can ICT create age-friendly environments (outdoor)?
  • Living well with dementia
  • AAL packages/ Integrated solution

The survey is open to participant countries and stakeholders until 17 September 2015.
