Horizon - Work programme 2018-2020 per il settore trasporti 

La Commissione Ue ha pubblicato, nell’ambito del programma europeo per la ricerca e l’innovazione Horizon 2020, il work programme definitivo della seconda sfida sociale ‘Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine, maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy’ per il periodo 2018-2020. Le risorse a disposizione ammontano a più di 1,3 miliardi di euro.

Work programme 2018-2020

Il work programme 2018-2020 è dedicato ad una serie di sfide chiave per il prossimo futuro, dal cambiamento climatico alla gestione sostenibile del suolo e delle acque.

La Commissione Ue prevede che le soluzioni finanziate nell'ambito del nuovo programma di lavoro apporteranno benefici economici, sociali ed ambientali. Gli investimenti, infatti, si concentreranno sulla promozione della biodiversità, sullo sviluppo di nuovi prodotti e tecnologie che siano in grado di migliorare il modo in si produce e si consuma in Europa.

Le call 2018-2020

Per il periodo 2018-2020 sono previsti tre bandi principali articolati in vari argomenti (topic):

Primo bando: Call - Sustainable Food Security

Il primo bando è dedicato alla sicurezza alimentare sostenibile ed intende sviluppare sistemi alimentari efficienti, dal punto di vista delle risorse e delle emissioni inquinanti.

I progetti finanziati contribuiranno a creare le condizioni necessarie per la diffusione di metodi di coltivazione e produzione alimentare dinamici ed innovativi.

Secondo bando: Call - Blue Growth

Scopo del secondo bando è supportare la crescita sostenibile nei settori marino e marittimo attraverso una gestione responsabile delle risorse.

La call finanzia interventi a sostegno della blue economy, al fine di migliorare la conoscenza degli ecosistemi marini - tenendo in considerazione l'impatto che il cambiamento climatico ha su di essi - e di rafforzare la cooperazione internazionale nel campo della ricerca e dell'innovazione.

Terzo bando: Call - Rural Renaissance

Il terzo bando intende sostenere nuovi approcci e strategie per rinnovare le politiche relative alle aree rurali.

La call sviluppa sinergie tra i principali settori economici presenti in queste aree, con interventi ad hoc sull'economia circolare, sulla digitalizzazione e sullo sviluppo sostenibile nella produzione alimentare e non.
